I am a self-taught freelance artist, living in Laguna Niguel, California with my husband (the love of my life), my funny rescue puppy, and seven, (yes 7), parrots whose happy calls at the break of dawn remind me to greet each day with joy, gratitude and passion!

Although I vividly remember drawing and painting alongside my Mom, doodling in my notebooks and being uncomfortable when I didn't have a pencil in my hand, it took many years for me to rediscover the energy, joy, challenge and excitement that creating art is to me.

Using the mediums of both soft pastel and oils, I am entranced with exploring form and color by following the light. A balance between technique and intuition, between work and play, painting is always full of surprises!

Whether creating from nature, people, animals or the visions in my head...I am never at a loss for inspiration.

I am extremely grateful to the many artists that I have met in life and online who have so willingly shared their time and knowledge and helped me on my journey.
